Hello
1) The links to the audio for at Berlin and Munich go nowhere...
2) For Montréal... I would clarify the "No signal at all for closing doors." description.
There is no signal at all for closing doors. However, the conductors will often rattle the doors to warn users to hurry up... or after an unusually long stop (silent) on the platform that the train is about to leave.
Conductors can also stop the doors in mid-range to allow someone running up to the door to sneak in at the last moment! It's worth running up to a closing door since if you are seen and are lucky enough, the doors MAY reopen to allow you in.
The doors are controled by the driver at the very front of the train.
Trains never leave a station if there is a train in the next section of tracks or at the next station. So you should NEVER stop in a tunnel. |

Eg. The next station is Imbi, Hotlink. Stesen berikutnya Imbi, Hotlink.
In addition, interchange stations have additional transfer announcements.
Alight here for (transferable lines).
Tukar sini untuk (transferable lines).
Eg. Alight here for Sri Petaling line and Ampang line. Tukar sini untuk aliran Sri Petaling dan aliran Ampang. _________________ Love ya Canadian Bacon. |

For the KL Monorail. For other systems in KL, Malay is used first. The KLIA Ekspres and Transit though I'm not too sure. _________________ Love ya Canadian Bacon. |

"Ukoncete prosim, vystup a nastup, dvere se zaviraji." – "Pristi stanice: [name]", which means "Finish alighting and boarding, doors closing" – "Next stop: [name]".
The translation should read "Finish alighting and boarding please, doors closing" – "Next stop: [name]".
This is important, as it was added at some point after 1989. Before it was just "Ukoncete vystup a nastup, dvere se zaviraji" which reads a lot quicker.
Prague metro sounds: http://www.metroweb.cz/metro/zvuk/zvuk.htm
Also for SF, "BART (newer trains): "The doors are closing – please stand clear of the doors", followed by a one-tone beep." This is actually incorrect. There's no beep if there's an announcement. The announcement is made at scheduled departure time (20 seconds after the train is stopped or at scheduled departure time, whichever is later) and the doors may actually close quite a bit later without any warning. This is only on trains that are led by an A-cab train (those that have slanted cabs).
I'll try to record this and post it on my site. |
